The Problem
During auction events, the Beyond Blessed Aviary team was tracking everything on paper: sales, reservations, new customers, payments, bird details. Then manually going back to update their CRM after the fact.
The result was a constant lag between what was happening on the floor and what was in the system - along with the risk of errors, missed entries, and time lost to post-event admin every single week.
The Solution
We built a Telegram-based automation that lets the team send plain-language messages in real time during auction events. OpenAI interprets the intent of each message and instantly routes the update to the correct action in Airtable.
No forms to fill, no system to log into, no admin after the event. They just describe what happened - the way they would tell a colleague - and the CRM is updated instantly.

How It Works
Team member sends a message in Telegram
Plain language describing what just happened: a sale, a reservation, a new customer, a payment, or a bird lookup. No special format required.
OpenAI parses the message
The AI identifies the intent and extracts the relevant data - bird name, customer, price, action type - regardless of how the message is worded.
Make.com routes to the correct workflow branch
Based on the detected intent, the automation fires the right sequence - sale, reservation, payment, lookup, or customer record update.
Airtable is updated instantly
Records are created, upserted, or searched in real time. A confirmation message fires back to Telegram so the team knows it landed correctly.
Under the Hood
Each branch handles a different auction action. The Telegram trigger feeds into OpenAI, which routes to the correct path - sale, reservation, payment, inventory, or customer update.
